The Islamic Sunday school is privately run and supported by the MCA. It was established in 1992 as Pak Academy, and soon afterwards moved to Miami Gardens Drive Masjid. The Islamic Sunday school operates on Sundays during the regular school year and provides an opportunity to the children to learn their religion.
The minimum age required at the time of registration is five years.
The Islamic Studies “Weekend Learning Series” is used according to the student age group.
The Dress Code:
All participants at Islamic Sunday School at Islamic Center of Greater Miami are required to dress in conformity with the Islamic requirements. Participants are required to wear Loose, moderate clothing. Female participants, in addition are required to wear the head covering.
Assembly: 10:30 a.m. - 10:45 A.M.
1st Period: 10:45 A.M. - 12:00 Noon
Islamic Studies; Sirah/Sunnah of
the Prophet Muhammad (SAW),
Fiqh, Aqidah and Ibadah, Islamic
Etiquettes and Islamic history.
Lunch Break: 12:00 Noon -12:30 P.M.
Students must return to the class promptly at the end of the break
2nd Period: 12:30 -1:45 P.M.
Reading, Memorization, Tajwid.
Salat-ul-Zuhr: Azan: 1:45 P.M,
Iqamah: 2:00 P.M.

The fee schedule is as follows.

The registration fee is waived for community hour recipient volunteers, other fees apply as above. Adult’s classes are offered for free. Accommodation is also made for those parents who can’t afford to pay.
